Megamind 2: Attack of the Garlsulrc
Obviously a sequel to the movie, Megamind receives a transmission from an alien craft near earth. To everyone's surprise, it is someone from Megamind's own race and she's begging for help. She and her people are being eliminated by the Garlsulrc and Megamind is the only one they can turn to for help. Megamind is the defender of Metro City, but can he save his new friends? Can he defeat the Garlculrc before Earth becomes their next target?
Currently coming up with a slight soundtrack and outlining the plot. I'm debating adding in the Doom Syndicate and playing with other ideas as well, although either way I need to come up with a more cohesive and detail-appropriate plot to tie together the scenes I have already. May take a while, but I want it to be good.
Despicable Me, the Rewrite
More fanfiction, holy crap. It's a rarity for me to do fanart, much less two big projects at once...I must be losing my mind. This ons is obviously just the plot of the movie...with a few things added here and there. I adored the film, but somehow it still feels like the plot was a tad rushed and that bits of the story were left out that could have made the entire thing so much better. It must be fixed! Hey, if nothing else, this project is good writing practice, neh?
| Door (working title)
Thomas Nagle's life has been circling the drain for the past few years. What's supposed to keep you going when there's nothing left? Go to work, get a paycheck, pay rent, eat, sleep, go back to work, lather-rinse-repeat. This ex-cop thought the newest murder case would be like any other. As normal as a murder could be, anyway. But...it's not. things aren't adding up, and the prime suspect is hiding something. Thomas knows there's something strange about him...he just never imagined how strange. Or that he's actually the good guy. Or that he needs Thomas to make sure the world doesn't come to an end. Seems like soon enough, Nagle is going to wish he had his old, crummy life back.
It's an incredibly stupid title...I can't decide on one, so for now 'Door' is just a placeholder for something that I hope is emensely better. I think my biggest problem for this novel so far is that I want to include so much in it...I'll probably have to trim a lot down or it'll kill me; I have too much for a decent book and not enough to make it into a series of any sort. It's awful! I'm trying to mix fantasy and myth with actual paranormal phenomena...blur that line of reality and make the story a bit more believable, make it so you can actually see some of it happening somewhere in a dark corner of the world.
